To develop, manufacture and market innovative, value-added personal hygiene toiletries for use when away from home...featuring convenient sizes, unique packaging and superior quality.

The Company was founded in November, 1991 by DeWitt Paul, with the acquisition of the technology and equipment to manufacture a premium quality cotton swab attached to a paper strip. This feature allows the swabs to be dispensed one-at-a-time and prevents them from spilling or getting messy. The swabs are also specially processed to help them hold their shape and not unravel or get fuzzy like other swabs.
The product is marketed in decorative boxes of various colors and graphic designs with pull-out dispensing. A Travel-Size version was also developed that fits conveniently into a purse or toilet kit. The products are currently sold in major food, drug and mass merchandising retailers under the Cotton Buds name.

In 1996, the Company acquired the product rights and technology to produce a coreless, solid roll Toilet Tissue in a dispenser designed to fit in a purse or pocket, making it ideal for travel, camping, and other "away from home" uses when size and convenience is important.
The same year, a packet of Toilet Seat Covers that conveniently fit in the purse was introduced. Both products were marketed under the CottonBud name and were generally located in the Travel-Size Sections of major retailers.

In 1999, the Company began manufacturing and marketing "Moist Mates", the first moist toilet tissue on a roll. Unlike other wet-type sheet products packaged in tubs, Moist Mates was a coreless, solid roll of moist tissue in its own dispenser that fit on the spindle under the dry tissue in the bathroom, making it convenient and readily accessible. The product was launched in July of 2000, and in April of 2001, was acquired by the Procter & Gamble Company. It is currently sold nationwide in a tub format under the name of Charmin Fresh Mates.

In February 2002, Procter & Gamble granted a license to Cotton Buds, Inc. to produce, market and distribute new Charmin To Go™ Bath Tissue and Charmin To Go™ Toilet Seat Covers. The Bath Tissue consists of a coreless, solid roll of Charmin® Bath Tissue in a convenient dispenser similar to Cotton Buds Travel Toilet Tissue, designed to fit in a purse or pocket. The Toilet Seat Covers are also conveniently packaged to fit in a purse or pocket. Both products can be found in the Travel/Trial section of most major retailers around the country.

In September 2002 , Proctor & Gamble granted a license to Cotton Buds, Inc. to produce, market and distribute new Bounty To Go™ Paper Towels. The product is a coreless, solid roll of paper towels in a plastic dispenser designed to fit in a glove box, backpack, workbench, picnic basket or anywhere space is a concern. The dispenser keeps the towels neat and dry until the last sheet.

In April 2005, Proctor & Gamble granted a license to Cotton Buds, Inc. to market and distribute a travel-size version of Charmin Fresh Mates™ Flushable Moist Wipes under the Charmin To Go™ label. It consists of a 10-pack of Fresh Mates™ packaged in a convenient, resealable plastic pouch that fits easily in pocket or purse.

In September 2005, Proctor & Gamble granted a license to Cotton Buds, Inc. to market and distribute travel-size packets of Tide® Liquid Detergent. These single use packets are designed to make laundering a few items by hand simple and convenient when traveling. One packet is sufficient for a sink full of suds. They come packaged three packets in a reclosable plastic case.
