PROCTER & GAMBLE TO LICENSE BOUNTY TO GO™
The "Quicker Picker-Upper" is Now More Convenient Than Ever

CINCINNATI, Sept. 16, 2002 – The Procter & Gamble Company has granted an exclusive license to Cotton Buds, Inc., an Anaheim, Calif. manufacturer of innovative personal hygiene toiletries, to produce, market and distribute new Bounty To Go™ Paper Towels. This unique product offers consumers the superior durability and absorbency of Bounty®, the nation's leading brand of paper towel, in a consumer-friendly, "away-from-home" package.

Bounty To Go™ Paper Towels is a coreless, solid roll of Bounty® Paper Towels in a convenient dispenser designed to fit in the car, diaper bag, backpack, briefcase, suitcase, workbench, or anywhere space is a concern. The compact, yet ample, quantity of towels make it ideal for traveling, camping, picnicking, boating, etc., or just to keep around the house, office or garage. The dispenser keeps the towels clean, neat and dry until the last sheet.

Bounty To Go™ Paper Towels joins recently launched Charmin To Go™ Bath Tissue and Charmin To Go™ Toilet Seat Covers, in a new line of "To Go" paper products licensed by P&G to Cotton Buds, Inc. This "To Go" line-up of market-leading brands allows consumers to experience the comforts, convenience and sanitary protection of home while on the go.

This is the latest in a number of external business agreements struck by P&G. These deals are designed to combine P&G's trademark, technology and/or know-how with strong outside companies to deliver mutually positive business results.
